How to Make Delicious Aronia Berry Ice Cream
Aronia is part of American history, having been used by the Jicarilla Indians for hundreds of years. Women from Apache tribes used the berries in cakes or jams, which they stored for winter. The Indians used all parts of the plant, but nowadays only the berries are used.
These berries have the highest antioxidant content of all berries. The antioxidants and anthocyanins in this fruit support immunity, reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and balance blood sugar levels.
These are not the only benefits of these fruits, but they are enough to convince anyone to include these small berries in their diet. And the easiest way to do this is by preparing delicious fruit popsicles or aronia juice.
