Our story begins 10 years ago, in Charlottenburg - a unique village in Romania, the only circular locality in the country
Seen from above, the village is laid out in a circle, with the houses placed at carefully calculated distances from one another. This layout has been preserved since 1771, when Charlottenburg was a village of German colonists and had only 30 houses arranged in a circle with a diameter of 210 meters. Today, it is the only village with such a layout in Romania, a fact that draws tourists from both within the country and abroad.
Beyond the village's unusual shape, visitors are also drawn by the warmth and beauty of the local people's spirit. People who cherish tradition and carry forward the cultural heritage handed down from their ancestors. To protect its unique appearance and traditions, the village was declared a historical monument by the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs.
“Set in a picturesque, one-of-a-kind corner of the country, the organic Aronia plantation in Charlottenburg covers 15 hectares.
Here, working alongside specialists, we grow, nurture, and harvest aronia plants to make our renowned cold-pressed aronia juice.
We started this project in 2015, and it has grown into one of Romania’s success stories. What drives us is a passion for healthy living and a wish to encourage people to choose natural products, the kind that nourish and heal at the same time.
We picked this spot because the soil and climate suit the aronia plant perfectly. But there was more to it than that. We were drawn by the beauty of the place and by the quiet privilege of working in peace, breathing clean country air. With no pollution in the air or water, our plants thrive too. We give them the ideal conditions to grow freely, and in return, they give us their fruit at its very best.”
